Through the years we have had dogs and dogs with a cat, and we miss our dogs and maybe someday get another one, but we live in a condo and we feel its not fair the dog to be cooped up...so we went with a couple sister cats... meet Izzy and Jazzy.

Used to have a 100+ lb chocolate lab
Had him for 14years
Been gone at least 8 years now
These are pets for now (sisters also)
Snowball and Lily

Here's Ariel. We saved her from the pound a few years ago while I was having my Jeep workshop built and she has been a part of our family ever since. We did have another one, CJ (I still think it was part of a conspiracy by my wife & son to get me to go along with having two dogs), for just shy of a year last year, but he proved to be too much of a handful for us & someone from the Humane Society took him as their family member (think 2 year old puppy with no instincts).

Jackson doing what Jackson does... She's a Bengal, and the first one we've had. She's more dog than cat, but VOCAL! Think amplified Siamese. Great kitten so far. She was a Christmas gift for my daughter (and wife). She made it to the vet three times before they realized he was a she... Neuter turned to spay.

Just got back from that last trip to the vets. !0year old Mickey got the whole cancer on the liver and spleen. Been off his food for a while and this week it went down hill fast. This may be the worst holiday weekend ever.

Sorry to hear. Been through it a few times myself. It sucks.

Very sorry to hear about Mickey. It's always difficult, no matter how old (or young) they are. Hope you've got good pictures, know you've got priceless memories.

Bill

Well, he isn't warm and fuzzy but he does have 4 legs, and he is kind of Scrambler related. This is Bumper. Why "Bumper"? you might ask. Well, about 7 years ago I was out in the Pine Barrens, taking part in the annual trash clean up, and I was assigned to one of the nastier trails out there. Through much of the year, it is mostly under water. Anyway, I roll through a very deep section, and I get out of my Jeep to watch the folks behind me as they try to cross. Well, I look over my shoulder, and there is a small Eastern Painted turtle upside down on my front bumper. Well, it was late October and quite chilly, so I figured he was dug up from wherever he was hiding, so I thought it best if I took him home for the night. He never left. There are currently several other turtles around my home, but I don't expect them to stay. Bumper is a permanent resident.

Sorry to hear...we had to let out black lab go a few months back...those days are the hardest ever...

Here is Rupert, who many of you met at Hot Springs the first couple of years-

He passed in Sept of '07. :(

This came to live with us in Nov of '07-

This is Daisy. She will be with us in Harlan. Was a give-a-way and got her at 2-1/2 years old.

Terra with her new toy.

Can you believe someone dumped Terra in the woods near our house? We took her to the shelter and she had chip. They found the owners but they told the shelter they had given her away but they didn't remember the peoples names. Right! BS story. People are cruel!! We sure love her. She's wonderful!

Yikes…. Started this tread 9 years ago. Sadly Joe and Abbie have been gone for several years now but I do have two new pups. Crazy how similar they look to Joe and Abbie. This is Emma and Sam. They are 1 and 6.
