I went to the Jeep/Volkswagen dealer for a recall on my Jetta and passed by a few Gladiators.

Is it me or are the door and body panels extra wavy on these new bodies and especially the doors?
 
I don't understand the desire to attach your shelter to your vehicle. Every time you want to go somewhere you have to pack up all of your gear. :crazy:
 
I actually really like it! Although I do think it's better suited to trekking than to base camping.
 
Trekking is the only thing that the Gladiator get my attention for. I think it could make a good overland trip rig.
