Looks like AZ after last weeks torrential downpour. Not enough geography for me to locate, but maybe some of the other residents know the trail?
We have frequent enough drownings following flash flood like this you'd hope the guy would be prosecuted for being that dumb. Just a few months ago some guy lost half his family after trying one of these crossings. Common sense doesn't seem to be all that common around here.

Well, now it is a great build candidate for someone... a very expensive one, but a good place to start as you can toss the engine and put in anything else... nice diesel on 40's? could be fun.

I test drove this one the other day, very nice:
60k, with about 10k in options I could care less about. Still, pretty cool truck.
My comparison is coming from only driving two "new" vehicles for the last 15 years: my 05 TJ Rubicon, and my current 05 LJ Rubicon.
Feels bigger then my LJ, obviously, but not as big feeling as say a 4 door F-150.
A bit more power then my LJ, but not mind boggingly explosive power. (I know it "can" tow, I wonder how it "does" tow?)
The 8 speed auto keeps the engine where it needs to be.
I hate "start/stop", that $hit is dangerous.
I am only 5'-11", so I fit fine inside, BUT you do sit way up high inside, like a CJ, especially compared to TJ/LJ where you sit way low.
Drove smooth, tight steering. A bit smoother then LJ, not much, but whole thing feels more hefty/solid.
Brakes are good, visibility pretty good.
Still on the fence. 60k is way high for a great "compromise" vehicle:
A regular pick up truck can do more for less money
A Wrangler/LJ/CJ better off road, mainly due to size IMO
The removable top and doors are cool, but I have never removed the top or doors from my LJ!!!!!!!!!!
So, a high price for some features I would never really take advantage of.
If I get one, it will be a Rubicon, but not for the "offroad benefits":
A Rubicon starts at 43k, optioned how I want, 50k, can tow 7,000 pounds
A Sport S with Max Tow optioned how I want is mid 40's, can tow 7600 pounds
No brainer there.
With the economy going in the crapper, maybe they will come down on price, but doubtful. They were firm. Also, no "0% financing for 84 months" on a top of the line model. Still, I would pay cash, most probably.
But, will have to sell my LJ, which I still love. Decisions.
The other thing - the electronics and doo hickey's are mind boggling. I still think my LJ is perfect - only AC/Cruise, roll down windows, stock/simple CD player radio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What they offered as "trade in value" on my LJ was laughable at best, offensive at worse LOL.
Lot of coin, but a nice/cool vehicle.
