All right guys, here’s your chance. Life changes, health changes, coupled with selling our current home and moving back to Central. Oregon has led me to decide to offer up this project for sale for a limited time at a great-repeat great price. I don’t wanna go into all the details of why I am selling. At least not now. I have not touched it in four years. And I’m taking that as a sign. We sold our home and have to be out by September 27. So – I am doing a one time offering that if you would like to purchase this project as it sits, I will tearfully let it go for $20,000. I can find receipts for somewhere between 30 and $35,000 worth of parts. I probably have over 1000 hours in labor so far. To get it running and driving, it will need the electrical for the engine compartment finished, including the engine. It will need the fan to be wired. It will need air-conditioning and heater lines and associated components installed. The seats will have to be covered. Fabricate and install power steering lines. A front driveshaft will have to be built. And the computer will have to be programmed. There’s probably some other little stuff that we can deal with that later. I have seat covers, I have an engine wiring harness (factory, excess wires removed). Also, the doors will have to have all components and weatherstrip installed, and I have all that. Plus, obviously the front end sheet metal installed. I also have powder coated factory, rocker trim. I also have a half Top that will need to be restored and seatbelts.(aftermarket.)
So- here’s your chance to own this smoking cool Scrambler for an equally smoking cool price. Again – no trades at least none that I can think of. The Scrambler must be paid for in cash before I release it. Yes I have a clean title and it is currently registered and tags are current. And, this is a big one, it must be picked up by the 26th at the absolute latest. If you can’t pick it up by then, this deal expires.
If this sounds good to you, be prepared to load not just the Scrambler, but extra parts, loose doors, the hard top, etc. The steering is hooked up. The brakes do work. And the transmission can be put into park as a shifter is hooked up.
If you’re not familiar with this build, go back and check out the 64 pages and you’ll see exactly what’s included.
