Bigwalton's NFC dreams have come true. Fun game to watch last night with those fans having the night of their lives over there in Detroit. With no dog in that fight I loved both teams throwing haymakers and going for it on 4th and more than 1 all game. Showing the 80 something year old lifetime fan was cool too. I was remembering my old coach's words yelled into the mud, dirt, and grass covering my face back in the day: TOUCHDOWNS BEAT FIELD GOALS!! RUN THAT ROCK IN!! I think there was also a line about always kicking something else besides field goals but I was on my third or fourth concussion that year so I don't completely recall lol.

Bigwalton's NFC dreams have come true.
:bacon:

I called the NFC side perfectly. It's really too bad that I won't bet on football (actually, from a betting perspective, I did not call it perfectly because the Lions didn't cover but the other two would have made up for it. I would have been perfect on the moneyline though)

The karma of the Cowboys getting beat down this weekend after actually losing to the Lions in the head-to-head so that the Lions get a second home game is SO SO SWEET.

I'm still baffled that everyone seems shocked about the Dallas collapse. They were simply exposed as frauds that built their fake "unbeatable at home" reputation by running the score up on very, very bad teams. Winning a couple of close games against teams that came in without their A game, and actually losing to the Lions except for the ref's screwup. They were the team that got hammerjacked on the road to good teams AND THE CARDINALS -- this weekend showed it. The Eagles loss at Dallas now looks completely meaningless because what happened to the Eagles started in that game. They had imploded already.

Gonna get out ahead of this. My Steelers look like feces. 😔
I have to give credit to the Steelers, they could have totally packed it in before the first quarter was over. I was genuinely impressed with the fight that they put up after that went completely sideways. They were only a couple plays away from making that a game and there was one point where I literally thought to myself "The Bills have an 'Oh $#^%' look on their faces."

Given how this season went and what they had to work with, the idea that they made the playoffs is pretty freaking nuts. I love the idea that the AFC North sent three through, that's quite the statement on the strength of the division. When you have what happened with the Cowgirls padding their record beating up on an utterly terrible division but being looked at as world beaters, people should pay a LOT more attention to division strength when evaluating teams.

And I want to say it now to be on the record:

Dallas firing McCarthy (and everyone else) and hiring Belidick and continuing to suck would be one of the most beautiful things ever.

LMAO. Have they blind folded McCarthy yet and put him out of his misery yet ? He was in NOLA a long time ago and most people were done with him then as OC.

Yeah they battled back a bit after that comment. The Pickens fumble pretty much did them in. Credit to the Bills who didn't turn it over and Allen for avoiding the Peterson sack along with the TD run. He pretty much ruined our day from the start.

Also give Najee Harris huge credit for daying this team is undisciplined. We've had quite a few talented clowns here lately. Antonio Brown , Leveon Bell , Martavius Bryant , and Plaxico Burress to name a few. Hoping Pickens isnt the next but blaming the refs after that game was lame. This is the kinda thing I blame on Mediocre Mike. I hope rumors are true and he opts out. Cause I know they'll sign him to an extension now.

I obviously have a vested interest in how this plays out and I'm genuinely more curious about this than any of the other coaching stuff that needs to be resolved this offseason. Such a weird position to be in, but it's keeping with how weird this entire season has been for the Steelers.

Thought BW wouldve been on here by now to gloat but nope. Ill give the Ravens props though. They made a good Houston offense look horrible. They didnt even sniff the end zone. Ouch. That D came to play yesterday.

Happy they got it together on offense in the second half, just wanted to see that in the first half too.

This is the tale, though, Houston’s offense had 3 points:

And, as a Michigan fan, this hits just right:

I think too much of CA is red, I don't see the southern end rooting for them between Raiders, Chargers and Rams fans.

Well I guess the best we can hope for now is a good SB game. Kinda tired of seeing KC there and not a fan of SF either, but probably going to pull a little bit for SF. Wondering what the the line will be on if there is a KC loss. Are TS / TK going to be splitsville ? I guess we can always hope that the flag football game will be interesting.

I'm out. Not watching. Seriously.

There isn't one single thing I want to watch in this matchup. Any other combo, I'm there. This was the one that no one outside the two fan bases wanted to see. Every other matchup had a storyline, something different, something interesting, this is more of the same crap.

I'll be going to the draft here in Detroit. That's the next NFL thing I care about.
