Yes, both Rhinyl and B-DCo are registered at the same address. Just pointing out that signs point to them being parallel businesses, DBAs, subsidiaries, etc…

It does not look like a supplier/vendor relationship to me. Looks more like a DBA to my untrained eye.

Ok. Finally put on the new top. Just the bows and the canvas per bestop support. It’s a little better, but marginally.

This top, like the last, does not allow my doors to shut all the way.
I’m going to do some redrilling and grinding on some of the door bar parts to see if I can make it fit better

That’s about what mine looked like. I just had some persuasioning of the door surrounds while in place to make it fit well enough.

I admit I have no experience with hard full steel doors or with an 8. But I do have a 7 with a soft top for 38 years and 2 types of doors and while not perfect work pretty well. 1 piece soft works the best, and 1/2 steel door with soft upper works pretty well. The y seal pretty well 5016F7D6-8FD6-4039-84E5-B43960F3CAE9.jpegA44F07CE-4DAA-478E-8F6A-8C0B6BA26D05.jpeg6A426570-8158-4B8D-BE21-F615D0DB9D4E.jpeg

Just an update on my situation which appears to be exactly like the OP. Been in communication with Bestop and Quadratec since 2 days after receiving my top (May 26th). After multiple emails, phone calls and countless photos, they are still working on it.
I contacted Quadratec again today and reiterated the issue and they are now sending me an entire replacement and even paid for return shipping (which Quadratec is notorious for not doing). I just receive notification of the replacement order. I'll keep you posted.

Ive always had good luck with Quadratec. They talk a hard game, but if there’s a defect they have always paid shipping no problem.

Yeah, that's the whole problem though. Bestop has still not admitted it is a defect. They are still "working the problem". So I was surprised that Quadratec was as amiable as they were. They sent me some visors for my CJ6, told them they were apparently the wrong ones or they were defective. Even sent them a photo showing the mount were too close for the OEM mounting holes. They insisted they were the correct ones for my 6 and it took me sending measurements, photos, and the actual Jeep CJ6 visor mounting measurements to get them to pay for the return shipping and refund my money.

I've had the same issues with Quadratec when it comes to returns, HOWEVER I think this is more a symptom of us being used to how easy it is to return stuff to Amazon. That's not to say Q isn't keeping up with the times though and I always weigh the option of how annoying the return is going to be if there is a problem with a Q order, especially if it's an Omix/Crown part.

FWIW, Bestop has not responded to any of my last emails regarding fitment of this second top they sent, I think I'm just going to deal with it because as @bigwalton said I think they could send me a million tops and they would all fit like shit.

I am really hoping that is not the case. With mine, the rear curtain holder would not fit between the brackets. They suggested bending the tabs out, so I did. Then my tailgate wouldn't close due to the width of the padding (and as you know it's thick) and it left about a 1/2 inch gap between my bed and tailgate. Then I noticed, as you did, that the tailgate latches wouldn't even move from the open position. They are sending a new rear curtain holder and corner plates to see if that fixes it.
Should have them by Wednesday. I'll update you then.
