Well... Had a bad afternoon after i posted the mounted up pic. My neighbour came over and chatted a bit... Then i noticed 2 puddles of nice clean gear oil under the front axles. BOTH axle seals are leaking... BOTH BRAND NEW $50 AXLE SEALS. Not impressed. When i was installing them i botched 3 of them. So i used 5 of them to get 2 installed properly. (well i guess they were not installed properly).
Anyways i ordered 2 new seals. I found a different style that will hopefully work. Its a pain in the a$$. Already pulled the front axle out of the Jeep and put it on jack stands.

Engine swap is on hold for now...

Got a car load of parts for the engine swap. should have most of the parts by the time I get laid off in May... Then its SWAP TIME!!! (hopefully)

in the mean time, i'm plumbing the emergency brakes now.

I at a nuke power plant. I only work when the units are shut down for maintenance, which usually means I am off most of the summer and a couple months in the winter.

Well, I was planning to just pull the transmission today (sold it), then finish the emergency brake...
I did pull the tranny...

but then got a little carried away...

This weekend, I WILL finish the emergency brake... Then I will have to organize the garage a bit. Hopefully find a place to put the engine until it sells. Next big step? Install the 4500 to 300 adapter that I got from Advance Adapters.

Back to the emergency brake... Mocked up and working. Now to finish and strengthen it.

oh... and... the handle is out of a Porsche! should add at least 500HP!!!

Installed. (minus lines) Its tight! I'm sure when i get stopped, they'll check for e-brake cables and wont believe me that i have a seperate system. . I like stealthy.
