I'm still leaning towards copper. Probably what I'll stick with, I just like the color.
Chipping away at it. Got the evap line ran, just have to hang the canister. Using a small Ford unit by the rollover valve in the rear corner.
Also pulled the injectors. Left them as an assembly. I took a clear hose, clamped it to the fuel inlet, filled the whole thing with Seafoam, and let it sit for an hour. Then hooked up the shop air, set the regulator at 60 psi, and using a battery and test leads, let each injector spray a bit. First was the nasty smell of old gas, followed by Seafoam. All but one of them had a decent pattern, and the one that didn't also was dripping. Bummer. I removed it from the rail, and using the same hose/air contraption, did a reverse flush and then forwards again. It no longer drips, but the pattern is 4 weak streams instead of a fine spray. It's soaking in Seafoam overnight, if that doesn't break it free I might have to buy another.
Saturday was the huge car show/cruise in Bend. Wow, were there some nice cars there, and a contingent of sweet older Broncos too. Too bad they won't let anything newer than 74 show, or I'd be entering the Scrambler next year. My powdercoater wants to use it as a display in his booth next year, so at least I'll get to cruise afterwards. Too Cool...
