It looks to have the exploding fireball crash bumper?super Rare

I have not dropped the tank yet and it was last registered in 2005. I have been driving it around the neighborhood that way. My really nice neighbor said "good for you" in that southern, your special, kinda way.

I think I would restore that

My fiancée worked for The Sports Authority for 24+ years before the closed recently. She went to work for Costco, but they only hire PT and have a 90 day trial period. On day 96 (this Wednesday) she tore her LCL playing softball. Gonna have to set it aside and see how this goes. I decided not part it, but future is unclear.

My 81 black Laredo was 304/176
Had 8" wheels with center caps and 5bolt hubs
Also had factory leather wrapped steering wheel (early style) and the pad on the center console
Also had roll bar saddle bags

No bags, but the console with pad is there. Black console/Honey pad. Seats are honey, but trashed. Carpet is still there. Clock and tach work.

My 81 Scrambler came with that horn button or something very similar

That's the 81-86 button. The 80 has a AMC only symbol. Weird they did that yet 1979 and earlier smaller diameter button also says jeep.

Not sure its weird, sounds like just a normal day in the AMC office.
Maybe it was a stolen horn button from another vehicle?

Kitchen table tonight. Picked up a Big hand axe at an estate auction Sat, got some heft to it. I spent a good hour with 0 steel wool & 3 in 1 oil, then sand paper w/ 3 in one oil on the pitted an high spots of rust. Then 0 steel wool w/ 3 in 1 oil again

No its acually upside down. Its a Chevrolet camaro emblem
