Another Scrambler Purchase/Road Trip - UPDATE- BODY ON FRAME AGAIN

The top and terra cotta stripe match REALLY brings it all together. SWEET!

I thinks so, too. Appreciate it:cheers: I thought these colors would look better on the Sebring Red then the Red decals:shrug:
 
Wow, your Scrambler looks amazing; nicely done! I really like the sebring red w/ nutmeg soft top and stipe color combo!:bow: I ran into the same issue when installing a Whitco half soft top on one of my Scramblers. I think it took me longer to get the top stretched out than any other part of the installation process!

Dittos on what everyone else said. It looks great. Like to see it in person too (when are you driving it to Florida?) The stripes really do make a difference. I like the terracota stripe with the top color too. Nice work and nice thread. :thumbsup:

I was really worried when that top did not fit at first:eek:, I was really thankful that it stretched back out:thumbsup:

Close up of how the front fender decal fit. No cutting or trimming was necessary.

We wrapped the decal up on the offset piece of metal around the fender flair. It stopped just short of the flair. We did not trim it. From the factory this decal usually stops about 1/2" from the raised metal lip, well, at least that is how the Scrambler in my yard is that still has the factory decals.

We did cut the rear body side decal where it crosses over the seam. We put the decal on first, then cut it with a razor. We then pushed it into the seam. It is stuck down just fine.

Your Scrambler looks amazing! That is almost exactly how I want mine to turn out (although silver with blue '82 stripes). Thanks for the detailed pics of the half soft top assembly, I have several tops and frame parts but I've never seen it put on so that helps a lot. Could you post some pics of the directions or scan them in if you have them?
 
People are crazy to think that there is a better looking jeep than a Scrambler. My hat is off to you and your work sir! Another question....you said earlier that your Jeep fit in your garage with 2" to spare. I was thinking that our jeeps were about the same height but without a top off mine will fit under a seven foot door and scrub the top of the roll bar but with any other hard top or soft top on I cant get in. What size door are you pulling in?
