Just bought one down in Va, not sure if it’s listed yet on here cause I didn’t go thru all of the posts yet. Vin# 19699 and it’ll soon be making the trip up to NJ. Body is in rough shape and the rear frame might need to be replaced. Doors look good, top needs some work. So not sure on the path I want to take with it because I wasn’t planning on another project but was thinking about restoring it.

Thanks, it was sold a couple years ago. The man’s son bought it to swap a fiberglass body onto it but never got around to it and it sat for years.

He had too many tire kickers and low ballers wasting his time on marketplace. Might have done you a favor though, can’t wait to see the look on my wife’s face when she sees this rolling in the driveway. Going to need to update my tetanus shot.

A buddy of mine brought his over to my shop last week. Purchased INOP in Fairbanks in 2002. Porthole windows were already there. We are getting it running over the next few weeks. Will ask if he cares to have partial VIN posted.

Yup that would be me, my cover is blown. I have interest in the 82 and the fiberglass tub sooo.... that might clear enough out of the driveway to make the wife happy and not have the house look like a Jeep graveyard.

Cool! So we didn’t have your postal on this list?

It is not on the first you have on the first post. Do you have another list that you are keeping?

No, I need to go back and add to it, there are a bunch mentioned in posts that haven’t been properly added in. It’s rather awkward to do and I haven’t tried to add to it in awhile.

I never saw my VIN added to your original list but maybe I missed it. I have started a build thread so it isn't a mystery that I have it - just sharing for documentation purposes. I was able to drive it up onto the trailer to get it home and have driven it around the neighborhood numerous times however it wasn't road worthy when purchased Due to marginal brakes, crusty tires, etc. It is now started to be taken apart for a full restoration. Clean and clear title.IMG_2454.jpgIMG_2427.JPG
