What are you guys cooking!?

Awesome! Those look like Munich Pulaner beers which would be perfect with them.

Well, Mrs CJ-8 loves her gas logs, so much so that we ran out of propane! Our cooktop is plumbed into the same tank as the logs. It’s been 7 weeks since filling. So off to the Holland with its side burner for some cheesesteaks cooked in the garage with the doors shut. All in all not too bad for Walmart meat. It’ll make one!

Felt like something sweet so I decided to make some cookies this evening. Oatmeal and craisins. Best freshly baked, but they freeze really well so always fresh
Those look really good. Have to try some craisins next time.
Have you ever tried Raisinets?

My wife usually makes a big batch of dough into balls and freezes them, a few minutes in the air fryer/toaster oven and hot fresh baked whenever you get the urge.

No. I only like Hershey chocolate, that being the main problem, and only straight up or with almonds. That and the craisins work great with the oatmeal.

How about some thick ribeyes?
I seared them on the new grill which has a searing burner for 2 minutes on each side and then cooked to a light medium. I don’t know if it was the cuts of meat, searing them or I just got lucky but boy were they delicious.
Have any of you guys noticed that the thickness of the meat has been thinner than in the past? These were a solid 1-1/4” + thick compared to the 3/4” they’ve been recently.

And the leftovers became steak and eggs for breakfast this morning! 😋
