Mine has the fog light brackets also along with the plugs in the roll bar mounts. I would like to know where they sourced the transmission shifter?![]()

Shifter is a part out of one of the AMC cars, i think its the Hornet off the top of my head but could be wrong.Mine has the fog light brackets also along with the plugs in the roll bar mounts. I would like to know where they sourced the transmission shifter?
On the one I was building I put a spare on the roll bar if that's the one you are thinking about. To my knowledge they did not come on the roll bar from the factory. I honestly don't think they shipped with a spare tire but I could very well be wrong.Did postals have a spare tire on the roll bar? Both of mine still have the black plastic plugs in the holes for the mount but I remember seeing one with a spare tire on the roll bar Also, both of my front bumpers have fog light brackets on them. I’ve seen other postals with them as well. I suppose lights were an option?
I agree with this, I've never seen one with the spare mount and IIRC, mine also had the plastic caps in the holes that I removed when I used one for a Hi-lift mount. On the one I was building I put a spare on the roll bar if that's the one you are thinking about. On the fog lights, the workers who used the Jeeps did all kinds of mods themselves. I don't know that we'll ever really know exactly what they shipped from the factory with. I highly doubt that there was any differences on any of them stock for an order of 230.Did postals have a spare tire on the roll bar? This was not unusual, many of the rural routes were TINY. Mine had less than that when I got it and I've heard of a lot of them having very low miles. These routes were not long-range and mostly in tiny towns.I have to question how an Alaskan Postal could average ~22 miles daily on a mail route.
Maybe the Postmaster driving back and forth to the Post Office.

Ours had 22,xxx on the odometer when we purchased it 2007. It now has 30,000 on it if I remember correctly.I have to question how an Alaskan Postal could average ~22 miles daily on a mail route.

Due to what it is and its rarity this really needs to be on one of those sales pitch coffee walk thingys , unfortunately as it has very little profit in it i doubt it will happen.CB is so lame they don't even know that the foam is actually stock and valuable to have in there because it proves the top has never been off.
I hate that place... ripoff artists.
