Ken Adams - pappywaho

Hang in there Ken, we’re all rooting for you..

Stay strong, Ken. We're thinking about you. By the way, in 1969 my dad was working on the DEWLINE warning system in Alaska. Our family was living in Las Vegas at the time and my father decided that his oldest, me, needed to be near him in Petersburg. I spent my first six months living in a cabin about 10 miles from the radar installation where dad worked. My vehicle of choice, other than a boat, was an old, beater, Willys wagon just like your dad's. Those pictures bring back great memories of my teenage years. My best to you and yours.

From that beautiful picture he has a great look on his face that shows his love of life and never wanting to let it go. This is probably the toughest job that sons do for their fathers-taking care of them during these times. Coming from someone who knows what this feels like, you have my admiration and respect. Hang tough and we're sending prayers your way tonight.

Wanted to let you all know dad passed away earlier this morning.

He was a warrior, 5 years to the date since his prostate removal surgery.

He can Jeep and eat ice cream all the time now.

Thanks to all for your kind words.

Renee and I offer our most heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I'll be a lucky man when my sons love and care for me getting my golden wings as much as you did for your dad. Death can't touch the experiences you family has had and will have. May he rest in peace and always have limitless trails to explore.
