This is the main fuse panel/ relay center. It uses the Metric 280 pins, same as all the connectors I used for the last couple harnesses.

Next to my battery I have a small fuse panel that feeds my light and fan relay board under the dash.

I also use the battery fuse block from the 2016 Silverado.

That way everything is fused except the 2/0 winch feed the is about 18" long and double wrapped with plastic.

I've been slacking on updating my thread over the Holiday. Still doing all the small details finished up.

The A/C has been put on the "Maybe someday list" I ran into clearance trouble by the column. Which means a different evaporator, vintage air, custom, or modifying the Jeep air I have. Also it is going to take some serious heat shields for the lines on the compressor that will run right next to the exhaust manifold. Plan is to run it this summer. See how it is with the vent working. Deal with it next winter. :fingerscrossed:

The YJ wiper motor is in and the wipers work off the turn signal lever, even the intermittent. :bacon:

I made a panel below where my tablet is mounted for the AM/FM, glow shift air pressure, 12V outlet, constant power USB, and Keyed power USB.

The air bag hole in the steering wheel got a temporary cover till I figure out what I want to do, It wouldn't have been bad, but the glue oozed out from behind the Chevy emblem and dried before I saw it. :banghead:

Fire extinguisher is mounted, within reach of the driver.

Carpet vacuumed, floor mats Armor All'ed, seats Amour All'ed

Albright style solenoid is mounted and wired. 1/0 battery cable ran to the winch. The original motor is back on the winch. The new 6HP Chinese motor does work. I haven't figured out why yet. As far as I can tell everything ohm's out okay. And it's probably not returnable since it's been on the shelf for about a year. Must be a sign it's time to order a Warn 9.5 XP motor.

And the 2 meter radio is mounted. The antenna is mounted, and the coax is routed. I used a NMO mount. Bolted it to a piece of aluminum. And riveted it to the cooling fins on my LED light bar. That way I can run the small 1/4 wave that is on it now for the woods. Spin a 5/8 wave on it if I need to get more distance. or spin a GMRS antenna on it if I want to switch the coax to a GMRS for a trip. The antenna coax worked out good. It runs though the cooling fins to the edge of the windshield. Then I glued it with black silicone to the rain gutter on the edge of the windshield. Under the gasket below the windshield, through the wiper wire hole, and to the radio. Which is mounted under the dash on the drivers side. I still want to wire in a interrupter so the 2 meter of GMRS come through the stereo speakers.

If you would like, I have hard wired chargers that you could use for your tablet. It can be configured with mini USB, micro USB or iPhone lightning plug. I believe we may now have the newer droid plug available too. It is a simple wiring connection of red (12+) and black (12-). You can install for switched or constant power feed. If interested I'd be happy to send you one.

I was planning on a short coil cord. But a hard wired would be nice. It has a Micro usb, so that should be fine. I have one question. Do you know if the one's you have are 1 amp or 2 amp? The Tablet needs a full 2 amps to maintain the battery when the GPS, Bluetooth, and full bright screen are running.

It'll do it. We use them with iPads for watching movies while using Bluetooth headsets. You can PM me on here or text or call 304-539-2804. So no one thinks I am skirting the rules on here, I will provide it free of charge to a fellow builder. I just need an address to ship it to.

Just a quick update. Had a bit of a delay in progress. Long story, short version. The chimney on my waste oil boiler plugged completely off when the rust and soot broke loose and fell. That filled my shop with black, oily, very stinky smoke. It covered everything in there with oil/smoke film. The Scrambler, VW bug, tools, windows, EVERYTHING, inside and out. To the point where no daylight would come through the windows. The Good news..........shop, Jeep and VW got a good cleaning.

Where the Jeep was parked

The partial box of beer that was closed on the bench

Washing the door

The VW fender

The VW window

Had to wash the Jeep and Bug with dish soap, then buff, seal, and wax.

Oh man, that looks like a nightmare to clean up. I had considered an oil burner for my shop, I didn't get one, I never thought of that kind of issue. Hope it all cleans up easy and quickly for you.

The major clean is complete. The pain will be all the small stuff that gets black on your hands when you grab it...............for years to come.

As far as the oil burner, It's been great. I've ran about 15,000 gallons through it over the last 13 or 14 years. which saves a lot of money...........And the good part is the boiler is in my shop, so the shop is as warm as I want it :bacon: And stays above 50 just from the boiler running heating the house and domestic hot water :bacon:

Wish you were closer. I've got a couple hundred gallons you could have.
