Project "AZZ DRAGGER"

Gotcha, seems like a lot of trouble though for a simple swap, a couple bolts, two hoses and you're done.

Reminds me that I need to get another spare pump after providing mine for a certain SOA Charity Raffle Scrambler owner that had his go out at the national last year ;)

yeah, its complicated... however, i had to do a fuel pump swap in the desert in Arizona. dual pumps would have been nice. AND i wouldnt have to keep a spare pump in my parts bin.
I dont like getting gas on me.

well she's "done" (when is a Jeep ever done?) for now..

got her out on her maiden voyage. Trail guiding for Camp NL 9 in Minden Ontario.
I got her road worthy on Monday, drove her to get Ice cream on Tuesday and drove her (1.5 hours) up to the event on Wednesday. rest day Thursday, then wheeled Friday, Saturday and sunday.

drives like a dream. smooth and straight. probably rides better than my 03 TJ did when I had it.

only problems we had on the weekend...
-fan controlled stuck on (not a bad thing)
-shock mounts need to be reworked, front too close to bottoming out for comfort and rears need the shock body turned 90 degrees so hose doesnt contact tire when fully stuffed.
-starter died on sunday. (replacement had a faulty solenoid which engaged while parked in the garage, Jeep tried to drive through the garage door. luckly no fire and no one got hurt, no one was home at the time)

everything else was great. new projects on the Jeep are already in the works.

anyways, here are the pics...

DUDE! Looks GREAT! Congrats!

Did you have a professional photographer following you around?? Great shots!! I went all over the Sand Dunes down here last weekend and didn't manage a single picture of my own junk!

You need to submit the best of those to Poison Spyder for their 2012 Calendar. HAH, I just went to get the link and saw you already did!!! NICE!

Thanks!
actually most of the pics taken (except the water/mud hole) were taken when we were stopped by my better half.
The creek crossing, I said to my wife, get out and get some pics that I can submit to Poison Spyder for the calender. :) She actually walked out onto a fallen tree, half way across the creek to get the action shots.
It was funny when i went to the calender link... I said to my wife, "Hey! BW's postal is right beside ours!!!"

Yeah but he already wrote me and said mine wasn't interesting enough. Yours is awesome and I'd bet money right now that they use it! Give my praise to your wife for the great shots!!!

Interesting.... I didnt get an email saying anything.

Drove the Scrambler to Sarnia yesterday. 4 ish hour drive. Shes a thirsty girl. Used 62 liters of liquid gold. Drives good but runs a little hot 210-215 in 32 degree C heat. Need to put some hood vents.
Finally got my new winch. Jeep speciality 8274 that Polarfire posted. Its MINT!!!! (pic later). Also got my new Tom Woods front drive shaft to replace my temporary square drive shaft that i made.
Coming to Sarnia is like Christmas everytime. I ship everything to my brother-in-law who works in Michigan but lives in Sarnia Ontario. Saves me a ton of money in shipping and border fees. Only thing that sucks is i have to wait...

Got my new plates too!!!
Edit: thought i attached it but didnt seem to work. Ill upload later

I had some back and forth with Dusty last year when the used my photos and put in a couple jokes about that. I would still bet they use yours.

Pic of new "Jeep Special Equipment" winch that Polarfire posted in the third party forum (thanks man!!!) winch has since been spooled with rope and fitted with controller plug. it works perfect!

And new plates too.
