Well, got a bit done this weekend... have one side done and tacked in, the other side I ran out of time... it is getting there.

Tacking the front all up:
Down tubes now... lots of cutting and fitting.
The angle came in at 34 degrees... stock is about 36ish, so I am happy with it. It appears like stock from the sides. Plates in the rear only needed a mild extension, so those will be bent up like the originals after 81:
NOTE: If you look closely I think this is an 83 and an 84... one is rounded and one is squared off on the edges, never noticed that.
I used the wood shim and there is a nice space between the bar and the wheel well, just can't get it pictured right.
