Brake booster and pedals mounted, system bled hoping they don't have to come back out again. I had changed the pedal shape with OEM booster but when I went to the Navajo Booster it has a different stroke and I didn't need to change the arm. It is sitting about a 1/2" further off the floor board than the Scramblers.

I have been putting things in the dash but decided I better get the heater hoses and AC hose sized up so I can put the end fittings on them before I start tying the wires from the fuse box to the dash knowing it is going have to go in and out a couple of times getting the hoses figured out. So the dash is temp mounted and one end of all the hose are tied in and run through the fire wall......and it all fit! Now I will mount the grill with the AC condenser and right fender to run hoses along to get the sizing done so I can do the fitting work. Then when I finish dash wiring I will be able hook up the hoses.

And yes I did test to see if I can get the fitting back through the grommets once I install them on the hoses.

Under the dash

Some of the Painless harness I wired up the other day,

More of the wiring.

Wires separated out of the harness that are not going to be used. Some were for stock gauges that I did not use, Speed Hut uses their own wire harness for some of their gauges. Others are for other accessories that I am not going to use.

Front lighting wiring still to be done.

Looks great! I like the brake pedal. Are those all Speedhut gauges? I need a clock and tach, love how those look.

I have had question on the AC/Heater unit I am installing. So I posting the parts list that came with the box. The kit # is at the top in the middle. Bought it from JeepAir online as a kit. Have called them a couple of times for extra fittings and such to make it fit the way I wanted it to. They have always been friendly and helpful.

I finished the front wiring and put the front together.

Had to take it all apart again, went to put in the radiator and fan and it would not fit. The radiator was hitting the power steering fittings so I had to reroute the PS hoses.

Got the radiator and fan in.

Had the glass installed in the frame and put all the stuff on the frame. Put in on the body figure it is safer there than leaned up against the wall.

Played with different trany cooler ideas. I had bought one of the round fined type but didn't like it. Checked out some others and decided on Darele 13611 Fin and plate cooler in stead. The paper is the size of the cooler. Figured that is where it is going to get mounted.

Started running the Trany cooling lines.

Cooler should be here Thursday.

I take a LOT more pictures than I post here. They show more of the steps to figure out where I want to go, and how I got to what I did. I am keeping a book of all the major parts bought and pictures of the whole project. You can see all the pictures I take by looking at the google album I have kept from the beginning by opening the link in my signature at the bottom. (If your are that bored)

Drive side originally was vacuum operated and the passenger side was a manual with a small crank handle. I debated keep the manual on the passenger side.

That thing is looking great!

That blue really complements the CJ lines.

Manual wiper would be great, it would give the passenger something to do and take their mind off the fact the driver can’t see anything in the rain with the original candles in the headlights.

What ever the V6 came out of must of had a port for the heater return at the radiator. There is no second port on the engine to hook it to. I did a little research online and yes several of the GM cars go back to the radiator. The adapter in the upper hose is from Advance Adapters the rest of the upper hose is from Summit parts to build it.

How ever the Jeep looks like this again!!!!!! Put water in the radiator and the radiator has a leak...OK solder it up. Looked under the Jeep and there is a puddle under the bell housing..looks like I have a bad freeze plug (at least I hope that is all) So out comes the motor.

PS I am getting good and taking the front of this apart.
