Many years ago my dad made me a dust pan out of aluminum. Best dust pan I've ever had. Same basic design. New mass produced ones with a rubber flap on the front edge don't work as well.

I always have a radio on my work bench, to listen to football, talk and tunes, both AM and FM. It keeps me company, like it probably does for many of you, during hours of jeep work. My signal is seldom reliable. It will be static with certain electrical components on, like the compressor kicking on. Sometimes the lights even interfere. The antenna sometimes won't get good signal unless i am touching it, ect. My shop is a metal. Is there a key or tips to a consistent signal and lack of interference from elec use in the shop?

It is up and assembled now wait for full cure time to be able to use at full capacity. Around Christmas it will have the cure time done. I don't have any lift that heavy planned but I will let it cure good anyway. Maybe do a little painting on it.

Try running an external antenna and maybe some sort of filter on the AC to clean up the power

On my work bench now is...another work bench. Your can never have enough benches. Well actually 3 of them. Another 8'x24" for my reloading room, an 8x2 for the garage, and a 6x2 for my indoor blasting, sanding room in the cellar. I also am making another small room in my basement into a small parts paint room. Everything is coated in plastic and I have an above the stove fan blowing outside the house with a filtered air induct (a furnace screen on the door) humidity is pretty low and I have a heater in there to keep it at temp for paint.

I need a taller bench. I have a 6x2 that is covered in tools, vice, and bench grinder. I really need a metal table a little shorter than chest high.
Spent all day yesterday hunched over the Honda Rincon motor. Got it torn down, cleaned out the innards good (owner sank it, so gotta get everything cleaned out), and partially reassembled. My back is KILLING me today from being hunched over all day yesterday.

I think mine are all 42" high. I'm 6'4/5" I can sit on a bar stool or stand and work comfortably.

Not quite the workbench but finally took this one home ('86 Laredo) from paint today. Will spend lots of time in my garage reassembling dash, interior, trim, bumpers/ettes and striping. Will be factory-look but not all original factory parts.
And the drive sucked. This may be Texas but it was 44 degrees and cold today, and I had to drive it 25 miles with just the doors.
