A long awaited hello...

I have been part of the page since 2013 and just now decided to say hello. Better late than never.

Let me start by saying I have seen several of your scramblers and I am thoroughly impressed by the quality of hard work and dedication you guys put forth towards them. I was hoping to meet several of you in South Dakota this year but unfortunately had to work. But rest assure I will be at Windrock next summer! I bought my scrambler in March 2015 that was rusted to hell and back (go figure for being a Michigan jeep). I had no knowledge of how to restore a Jeep, never welded before, never done axle swaps, etc. I slowly taught myself (courtesy of YouTube) and built what you see below. It still is a work in progress (like all Jeeps) but hope to have it done soon (lol, it will never be finished).

Currently the stock t-176. Waiting to do a nv4500 swap. Need to figure out whether to go with a np205 case or getting an adapter for the 300 or spoil myself and go atlas lol.

300 or spoil yourself. 205 is a big pig and low range isn't much.

Hello all. Really enjoy this site.
I'm from central Kentucky. Working on these two.
Tan one belongs to a great friend.
Rebuilt 4.2, SM465, 4:1 300, getting one tons 4:56's. Rear locker. suspension seats and cage.
Blue one is mine. 360, NV4500 5 speed, 300,
Stock axles, lots of rust. Lots.
Both are long term drawn out projects. Tan one should be on the road spring of 2017.
Blue one will be driven while being updated.

Good lookin Scrambler! I really like your inner front fender well work.

With what and how did you do that?

They are metalcloak YJ inner and outer fenders that I had to hack and mod to fit the CJ. I had metalcloak stop and talk to me when I was at the Unlimited Offroad Expo this year because they know they don't make arched fenders for the CJ. I told them I wanted an original look and it was a pain in the *** to hack those YJ fenders up and test fit them 20+ times.

Metalcloak only makes the flat front fenders for the CJ. Not the arched.
My bad, I thought his were arched, I guess because the look different than all the other flat fenders out there. Do you think you would rub your 40"s with their CJ fenders ?
