Jersey Jeeps told me about this pkg:

I've only ever seen the Adriatic Blue and not even a brochure on Sunshine Yellow.

I have since found brochures for all three colors. The Adriatic blue seems most common followed by the yellow. Although in the last ten years or so of looking much harder than the early years of my life, I have only seen 2-3 Adriatic Blues survive / for sale. One even had the window sticker [emoji41]

The "Sidewinder" and "Westerner" strike me as dealer stickers. Any more details?

My 1985 Jeep CJ-7 “Apache package” Renegade. I purchased it in 1995 at the age 15. It was my first vehicle and I still own it. This photo taken in 1996. 258 with a T-176, Dana 300 T-Case, Dana 30 front and Model 20 rear. Charcoal metallic paint, the Apache version of the Renegade stripes, garnet interior and factory hard top. I have a factory garnet soft top that has never been used (I’ve considered finding a soft top frame and installing it). Sadly in my teenage years I had the Jeep painted, losing the stripe kit (I’ve also considered having a professional sign shop recreate the stripe kit). The garnet dash pad was destroyed by a mechanic (I’ve considered painting a black one garnet). C78AD438-5F25-40C6-8D0E-892947DAE2AC.jpeg

Don't you wish you could go back to the 90's and stop yourself from making changes to your CJ?

Garnet paint for your dash is available from TCP Global in San Diego. It's the SEM #3078 garnet color coat interior color. If you need a garnet leather covered grab handle, I've got one.

Most definitely! My grandfather had a car lot and one of my uncles was able to acquire cool CJ’s throughout the late 70’s through mid 80’s such as a couple Silver Anniversary, multiple Golden Eagles, Lardos etc. Living at the base of Tellico all anyone ever thought about was improving their CJ’s for trail riding not preservation. I’m glad I never cut my CJ and most of what I’ve done can be changed or tweaked to give a closer to stock appearance but I’d love to see the Jeep as I bought it. Oh well, we live, we learn. Here is my CJ as it sits now. 32713FB9-E50C-4C81-A03F-ADD2256D3CCE.jpeg

Kim Dawson, thank you for that extremely useful information! As far as the grab handle how does one go about contacting you?

Looks like it. Thats a really nice Jeep except for the dent. He wants more than the $8,813 list price though.

4981B60F-6B04-4439-81E6-445B52EAE5D8.jpegI’m not sure if this qualifies as a special edition, but this is my father’s 1985 CJ7 that he got in 1989 (before it became a total rust bucket), I’ve never seen these decals on another Jeep, possibly a dealer installed set? It also has a step/hitch bumper with the dealers name and town stamped into it.

Never seen anything like that with the dealer info on the step bumper. What an odd thing to decide to do! I'd fully guess that the decal kit was added at the same time, but I can't be certain.
