One of the guys at work gave me one still in the plastic from his collection of classic cars. I didn't realize it is so hard to find. It sits where I can see it everyday next to a picture of my old Malamute who passed many years ago.

Turns out I do not have a silver with white wheels CJ-8
Based on Ebay, it is indeed a rare one.
Another VHTF 'old' one is a brown with white wheels CJ-7.
