The $33,000 "Base" model at the local dealership had a bunch of options on it, total cost was $45,000.
I looked at it again when I was picking my LJ up from its 120,000 mile service. I looked at it again a few days later, when I stopped by the dealership to make sure I put the right anti freeze in my LJ after the OEM upper radiator hose blew out.
Changed the two radiator hoses, two heater hoses, and serpentine belt out on my LJ in about 1.5 hours. Not sure I could do that in a Gladiator?
45k is way too rich for my cheap a$$. Probably hang on to my LJ until the wheels fall off. Then, I'll probably just replace the wheel/axle bearings
I do like that silver Gladiator. Not knocking just Jeep, might just be my cheap butt, but all new cars and trucks cost way too much. That, or I'm just too cheap. That, and I have been going backward in price on my new vehicles. Paid 27k for my brand new 05 Rubicon. 8 years, 165,000 miles later, I traded it and 7k for my 05 LJ Rubicon that only had 20k miles on it. At this rate, my next new vehicle might be a Kia/Hyundai/Daiwoo!!!
