@bigwalton You know what week it is. šŸ¤£ Looks like youll be sitting a few players. Hopefully the Steelers can win by 3. I may be a little biased but I think Steelers-Ravens is easily the best rivalry over the past decade or two

Yep and it's turned into UGA-FSU :rotfl:

I would dearly, deeply, desperately LOVE for the Ravens backups to knock y'all out of the playoffs for good. You had no business winning half of the games you did and the Ravens handed you the first one on a platter. So sickening...

(And all of that is because I completely agree about the rivalry. I would have said Cowgirls-Eagles and Cowgirls-Commanders, but both have been too one-sided of late and meant very little while the Ravens-Steelers games have absolutely mattered and been rather even of late)

I really thought if they beat the Ravens itd make me feel like ok , they are a playoff team. It didnt really work and losing TJ Watt made it worse.

Canā€™t feel great beating a practice squad. That was so hard to watch.
 
It was, and actually was a great win, but no es bueno when you have to hope 2 or 3 other teams will help you out to get to the next level. Next year as they say for us.

Wouldve much rather saw them get in than the Bucs. Saints are a fun team to watch when they're clicking.
 
So my dream scenario in the NFC is now two parts:
1) Lions beat the Rams to knock Stafford out - (Fun fact: this is Stafford's first playoff game in Detroit)

2) Packers go into Dallas and finally prove that this ā€œunbeatable at homeā€ narrative this season is a total fantasy. Dallas has beaten awful teams at home, almost lost to the Seahawks, did lose to the Lions, and their win over the Eagles at the start of the Eagles' descent into a complete dumpster fire looks awful now. Dallas is the Dallas team that was average at best on the road this season and took some humiliating losses. It would be the most Cowboys thing ever to lose a home playoff game to a rookie QB after winning the NFC East.

This would mean that the winner of what I've dubbed the "Dumpster Fire Bowl" - Eagles at Bucs - would come to Detroit for a second Lions' home playoff game :bacon:

Bucs... WTF??? A three field goal win over the PANTHERS when you're playing for your division??!!??!! :eek:
 
I donā€™t have a real team anymore with mine taken out yesterday, but Iā€™m good with the Cowgirls going down in flames. And with Joe Burreaux out also I have know idea who I would care much about. My Eagles have self imploded. The NFC east (even the entire NFC) was theirs to loss 6 weeks ago and they sure did loss it. Dumpster fire is a good description of the teams current state of mess.:banghead:

Wife is an Eagles fan, we switched off the game yesterday after half.

They had a graphic showing the percentage chance of the Eagles winning the East week-by-week and it was hard to see.

If they go to Tampa and this keeps up, is Sirianni gone? I commented to friends a couple weeks back that I thought that he'd lost the locker room and it's sure playing out that way. Despite having a bunch of great players, I'm not seeing a team leader stand up and demand better from the team.

I thought Sirianni's press conference after that game was horrid. When they showed the clip of him talking something like "I know we have the team to get back up after getting knocked down..." and the obvious question is: "Ok, why haven't you gotten up for five weeks, then?" Horrible optics to trying to take that tact now.
 
A season that has the Texans winning their division is really messed up. They have done nothing since being granted an expansion franchise spot. I guess it is a mixed bag.

Related: the idea that the Panthers willfully passed on Stroud for Young because the moron owner overruled the GM is just INSANE.
