Excel?

Ummmmm Okay I see your two spreadsheets, but they only open as graphics. How do I open as Excel? Did I miss the post?

Thanks Craig! :D

That's because they were just screen shots. I had to wait until I got home to FTP the XLS file to the web. Give this a try and see how it works.

http://www.altelco.net/~emenaker/SOA/SOA_Project_Tracking_97-2002.xls

I run Linux at home and can't open Excel spreadsheets in my browser, so I'd like to know if someone else can verify that it worked correctly for me.

Thanks,
Craig

When it needs to move from Carolina to NJ, I can help with transport. We can do some relays, meeting halfway.

OK- I know of a 1981 Scrambler that was available that still may be. It can be bought right- under $600 and it has a good frame and very usable body. It currently has a 304 under the hood that is tired but runs. The vehicle is bone stock except for the replaced engine. The good points of it are:
- bone stock except for 304
- Texas Jeep all its life
- good frame
- usable body(needs some driver side floor work)
- everything is there except for a top
- has a tow bar on it
The bad is as follows:
- rear end is out
- needs some body work
- non original engine
- no top
- been parked for several years- but will run
I realize that this is not free, however it is an option. I would be willing to donate $$$ towards its purchase on top of as many parts that I have that are needed.
---------------------
I have lots of accessory parts that I would donate. I would also be good for a good used set of wheels and tires. The Jeep is close to Houston- about three hours for me. I could pick it up in a couple of weeks- I would consider donating a portion of the purchase price. I could also provide the following:
- Original Owners Manual
- Original Factory Tech Manual
- Orignal Carb- rebuilt and ready to go
- New Dash Bezel for around the gauges(I manufacturer them)
----
I could also provide a set of original style decals- I am in close with the owner of Austin Jeeps- I could get him to donate a set if we want to take it back to factory style.
I have attached a photo. Let me know if you think this is a good base for the project. Thanks
Kyle

KGT,
If this is to be the one I can help with getting it picked up...The pics look like the Rosenberg/Wharton area(Flat). We'll see what happens...Stay tuned......

TEXAS, I'm coming back for a short visit next week!

Kyle, I am traveling to Houston Wednesday. Where is this rig located? I'll pitch in some $$$$ to help with the purchase! :)

Bill, Wanna "Meet up" Wednesday to see this Rig, or for dinner in Clear Lake?

Mark

The Jeep I posted photos of is in Bellville Texas. I left a message for the owner today to see if it is still available. If it is I could negotiate the price, however I would not be able to pick it up for a couple of weeks(sons B-Day next week- wife would kill me)! When I hear from the owner I will let everyone know. If this is not to be for this project I will post the owners info and people at this site could have a crack at it.
Thanks
Kyle

KGT Bellville isn't too far from me I can help if you need anything. When I was in sales, Bellville was in my territory, I'm surprised I never saw it or heard about it from my "Sources"....From what I see in the Pics, it doesn't look like he'd have an issue with it sitting there for a few more weeks. Lemme know if you need anything.

Mark Bellville is a pretty good haul from Clear lake. I'll PM you my info, call me and we can have dinner tho, I think I'm free on Wed.

The need Matt mentioned for officers, etc...

From BritScrambler As for the help with the SOA...Matt, YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT! We should all help! So, Contact me individually and I will see what I can do to help... let's see what you would have me do!

Ummmm okay, now I'm learning that I cannot help until my membership is one year old:confused: . Matt, How can I help? :) Please PM and let me know (so as not to hyjack this thread).

Thanks!

leadership roles - 1 year requirement

bilaws state that only for officer positions need to be a member 1 year before becoming an officer. This was to ensure that the person running for the position or holding the position was consistently on the forums, was known well by others, and to ensure that they were serious about the organization. This requirement was done to try to help provide stable, quality persons in leadership roles. Any of the committee or other other fuctions to help in the organization do not have to be members for 1 year. You can serve on the event committee or this project vehicle committee or newletters or others I can talk with you about.

will send you a pm about other opportunities.

thanks..

matt

Brit,

We do have to insure that the RHD members will not try to lure us to the wrong side of the road!;) ;) ;)
